SUP for Beginners

Want to try stand up paddle boarding (SUP)? Join us on scenic Megunticook River with Maine Sport Outfitters to learn basic SUP skills including strokes needed to control the board and how to get on and off the board safely. Children 10 and older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Registration fee includes gear. Weather permitting.

Trail Talk - Rockport
Walkers and joggers of all fitness levels are invited to come together with clinical team members from Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital to exercise and learn about the many health benefits of being active. Whether you are new to exercise, considering training for a 5k or an avid runner, this group is for you. Families are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. No previous exercise experience required; please consult your physician prior to starting an exercise regimen.
